Fixtures

Fixtures are the part of the plumbing you touch every day. When they drip, loosen, or corrode, the rest of the house notices.
We install and repair fixtures during a single replacement or as part of a remodel: faucets, toilets, showers, tub valves, garbage disposals, and the supply connections that feed them. If you are planning a kitchen or bath update, we can set the new fixtures and check the valves and lines behind them at the same time.
What we typically see
- Dripping lavatory and kitchen faucets
- Corroded finishes and stems on houses close to salt air
- Toilet leaks at the base, the supply, or inside the tank
- Shower valves that no longer hold temperature
- Disposals that hum and do not turn, or leak at the flange
- Hose bibs and outdoor showers that have seized or cracked
On barrier islands and beach neighborhoods — Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Marco Island, the Naples coast — salt air shows up on exterior fixtures and sometimes on metal inside a lanai bath. Replacing the fixture without checking the valve and the supply line just moves the leak six inches back.
If orange staining or a sulfur smell is what you actually want gone, a new faucet will not fix the water. We can test the water and talk about a softener, iron filtration, or a drinking-water system separately, and only if the test says you need it.
Questions
Can you replace a faucet I already bought?
Yes. Have the fixture on site, or tell us the model when you book, so we bring what the install needs.
Do fixture stains mean I need new faucets?
Not always. Red or orange staining is often iron in the water. We can tell the difference between a worn finish and a water-quality issue.
