Water heaters

Call 239-376-0640 · Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties

A water heater gets ignored until the shower goes cold. When it fails, the whole house feels it the same day.

We install, replace, and repair water heaters for homes across Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties. Most of the work is traditional tank units and tankless systems. Technicians also have experience with heat pump water heaters and solar-assisted models when that is the equipment already in the house or the setup the home actually needs.

Tank and tankless

A tank heater is still the right fit for many homes. Tankless can make sense when space is tight, demand is spread through the day, or you are tired of running out during a full house. The wrong size, or a unit that does not match the gas, electric, or venting you have, shows up later as lukewarm water. We recommend from the house, not from whatever is easiest to hang on the wall.

Repair versus replacement

  • No hot water, or water that runs out faster than it used to
  • Rust-colored hot water, or a rumbling tank
  • Moisture at the tank base, the drain valve, or the supply connections
  • A unit that is old enough that another repair is a short-term patch

Sediment is a regular topic in this part of Florida, especially where the supply is hard or a well is bringing in minerals. Flushing and an honest look at the anode and connections are part of deciding whether the heater you have is worth keeping.

Hard water shortens heater life. If staining, scale on fixtures, or a softener that is no longer keeping up is part of the same visit, we can talk about water treatment at the same time — after a water test, not as an automatic add-on.

Questions

Do you work on both tank and tankless heaters?

Yes. We also see heat pump and solar-assisted equipment. The recommendation depends on the fuel, the space, and how the house uses hot water.

Can a water heater leak without the tank itself failing?

Yes. Supply connections, the drain valve, and the temperature-and-pressure relief valve are common sources. We find the source before we tell you the tank is done.
